These pads send off an alarm signal whenever it detects a leak.

However, the best way to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning in your home is to have plumbing reviews regularly. Your gas appliances should be checked for gas leaks often, including and most especially older models, which should be scrutinized by a professional.
